Behind the wheel of a van, I swiftly positioned it to block the wreckage. Without hesitation, I rushed out and pulled the individual from the mangled car. Within moments, a loud collision echoed as a lorry forcefully struck the van, propelling it forward and subsequently impacting us. The van, which had acted as a protective barrier, forced us to the side. Had it not been for the van shielding us, the truck might have plowed through the car, leading to a tragic outcome. This incident left an indelible mark on my life, and even years later, I continue to grapple with the lasting impact of the injuries sustained.
